TomTom launches new sat navs

TomTom has launched a pair of satellite navigation systems.

The TomTom GO 720 and 520 have a slimmer design than previous models and come with the latest maps for the UK and Ireland.

Both feature a 4.3 inch touch screen, an MP3 player and a built-in FM transmitter to stream music over a car radio, and a hands-free function that enables motorists to safely make calls via their mobile phones.

In addition, the TomTom GO 720 has pre-installed maps of Western Europe on its 2GB of internal memory.

TomTom is also offering its TomTom GO customers a guarantee which gives customers the opportunity to download the latest map versions free if a more recent map becomes available in the time between production and purchase.

This can be done by checking the map version on the company website and use the map check code included in the box to activate their ‘latest map guarantee’.

The TomTom GO 720 and 520, which comes with 1GB of memory, are available now. They cost £329 and £299 respectively.
