Hotspot provider the Cloud is extending its Wifi access points around
Birmingham’s Bullring shopping centre, allowing people throughout the complex to
get online wirelessly.
Shoppers at the centre can already download the latest music and film clips,
make phone calls over the internet, or surf the net and check their emails when
they step into one of the 30 Wifi access points already implemented at the
Bullring.
However,
the
Cloud plans to add more access points during the year, making the whole
shopping centre, which is the equivalent of 26 football pitches, a Wifi
hotspot.
Anyone that already subscribes to the Cloud's £12 a month Ultra Wifi package
will be able to get online. Shoppers that just want to dip in on a single trip
can plump instead for its
pay-as-you-go
service, which starts at £3 for 30 minutes.
