has announced that they will be giving consumers a three-year limited warranty
on every
Maxtor branded
Internal Hard Drive Retail Kit.
The Internal Hard Drive Retail Kits are designed for users who want to
replace or upgrade their internal hard drives in their PC or Mac to give it more
capacity for multimedia applications such as games and video.
The three-year limited warranty applies to all Maxtor Internal Hard Drive
Kits purchased on or after October 1, 2006.
Maxtor Internal Hard Drive Retail Kits come in 80GB and 500GB and include
components users need to install the new hard drive such as mounting screws, a
PATA or SATA cable and step-by-step instructions.
The hard drives cost from £32 for 80GB and £140 for 500GB.
