Q The Run command seems to have disappeared since I upgraded
my computer from Windows XP to Windows Vista Home Premium. It used to be an
option on the Start menu but now it’s not there. Can I get it back?
Jack Stone
A It hasn’t disappeared, but it’s not quite as obvious as it
was before.
You can still find it in one of the folders inside the Start menu, but it’s
much easier to make use of one of Vista’s new features, which is the ability to
search the Start menu. To do so, just click Start and start typing the word
‘run’ (without the quote marks). You’ll find that the Run command appears in the
menu above, or you can just press Enter after typing run.
